Happy New Year! So glad December is over!

Happy New Year to all my family, friends, followers, and FB friends!  I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad the month is over!  This December seemed to affect me more than most, so now that's it's done, I'm feeling the light, the love, and looking for the inspiration!

It's been a very cold winter so far, more so than normal in this part of southeastern North Carolina, so perhaps there's still time to create additional winter items.  But I'm seriously looking to develop new designs for Spring, and at the moment, I am fresh out of ideas.

I'm thinking of working some very lightweight Wrapsodies, perfect for a little extra warmth in air-conditioning and for wearing before the weather turns really hot.  I just finished a new Wrapsody for myself - in the richest tones of black, brown, and rust (my favorite combo) - because my friend bought the one I originally made.  You can see that one on my  facebook profile and below as well as several views here.

Here is the newest one - that I'd like to keep.  I wore it last night to some friends' house and got lots of interest.  Each one comes with a hand-crafted shawl pin: a copper one (handmade by ME!) or a wooden one (handmade by Karen Harbaugh of Karma Wood Crafts & Port City Pottery & Fine Crafts).
