A lovely thing happened on the way to.....Scrabble!

Dirty Denim I

Actually, Scrabble was at my house yesterday. This is our monthly group that I can rarely attend. But since this was at MY house, I obviously needed to be there! LOL! I greeted the first person to arrive who LOVED the Dirty Denim Scarf I was wearing. As luck would have it, I had just retrieved the duplicate - as well as all the rest of my work - from a local venue where it was rather languishing! No point keeping stuff at a place where it doesn't sell when I have a fabulous place (Port City Pottery & Fine Crafts in The Cotton Exchange) where my work is doing better than EVER!!!

So my friend came in, drooled over my scarf, was delighted to know I had a second one, and BOUGHT it on the spot! She's thrilled, I'm thrilled, and then we ate wonderful food that everyone provided, and played challenging Scrabble. I won - in all respects! Thank you, Marsha!
