CLUTCH TIME! In a Clutch.............!

SANDY DREAMS FELTED CLUTCH

I’m into felting as anyone who knows me or follows my blog knows – all kinds: knitted felting, wet/hand felting, nun felting! The process is different with each, but the results are always surprising, interesting, unique, and very lovely. Well, that’s not always true. One never knows what the results will be, so sometimes it can be quite shocking.

Only once have I had to GIVE away a bag that was too ugly to sell. I held a contest to name it, and gave it to the person who had the best name for it. I can’t repeat that here though! HA! That person may or may not know it, but I've named a whole line of my scarves after her. It's the Bernadetta line, and if she's reading this, she may know why. It's a good story!

So....I'm enamored with all these kinds of felting, and lately I have created a number of clutches or envelope bags after one I donated to a charity auction went for an exorbitant amount of $$$. So here are the latest ones, in a variety of wools and novelty yarns, finished with pins/brooches that I've found in carious places. Some are converted earrings, some are pins I've made or found. I've had such fun designing these bags - no pattern, no idea if/how it will come out. See for yourself!
