The Porters Neck Garden Club organized and executed a gloriously wonderful garden tour yesterday of homes within the Porters Neck community in which we live in Wilmington NC. Tony and I were both gratified to be asked to submit art for display amongst the beautiful settings of our neighbors' gardens.
We were completely blown away - not only by the monumental effort put forth by the organizers of the event, but also, of course, by the magnitude of the gardens themselves, lovingly and largely tended by the homeowners. We visited nine gardens - all quite different from one another, but nonetheless interesting and lovely in their various settings both on and off the golf course. Our congratulations to all the organizers and their worker bees, without whom the event could never happen! Here are some views of the gardens and the art!
