Think SNOW Neck Muff!

It’s winter somewhere in the world! While we’re sweltering in heat in southeastern North Carolina, I actually decided to knit a very winter scarflette with wonderful 100% soft wool thick and thin hand-dyed fiber purchased in Massachusetts during a recent trip to New England.

Shades of taupe, brown, and orange. It is intentionally irregularly shaped and fastens with a HUGE but wonderfully funky orange button. It can be worn multiple ways depending on where you stick the button through the open, irregular weave of the handknit. It’s pointed on the end and completed with self- and silk ribbon fringe on one end only.

Amazingly soft, yet warm. Think of all those winter days to come! I got excited imagining this with a black sweater! YUM!!!

21” long x 6” wide at the widest point with 9” of fringe. More views here and here.
