I've been affiliated with Port City Pottery & Fine Crafts since it opened in April of 2007. It has evolved from a thing of beauty to a thing of greater beauty, thanks to the vision and masterminding of the seven owner/potters and the 14 other artists who comprise the group. We are all local artists from the Wilmington NC area; everything is handmade and original art. We run as a cooperative, so all the artists work the gallery three or more times per month. We greet our visitors in a warm, friendly, engaging way, and we've enjoyed SUCCESS! This 3-D gallery includes artists who work in clay, wood, fiber, gourds, pine needles, metals, and mixed media.

These are the other artists at Port City Pottery & Fine Crafts:

Linda Hartman - mixed media scultpure
Harry Hart - woodworking
Dory Maier - gourds and pine needle basketry
Dianne Masi - gourd art and pine needle basketry
Sara Westermark - fine jeweler and metalsmith
Ed Jacobsen - wood turner
Melanie Walter - clay and pine needle basketry
Carol Langer - fiber/fabric bags
Karen Smith - weaving
Claire Bateman - book arts
Joan Fry - fiber wall hangings
Iris Simmons - art quilts
Don Johns - pottery
Louise Giordano (ME!) - fiber arts

These are views of the gallery taken today while I was working.

We are open every day from 10 am to 5:30 pm, except on Sunday (12 - 4pm). Come visit and enjoy the views and work of these very talented creative types!
