Desperate to create something new (the boredom thing rises up!), spending far too much time sitting in hospital rooms of late, and with artist block preventing me from even knitting, I have FINALLY created something NEW that combines both knitting and freeform crochet! YES!!!!!
This is the first one, in two wool blend yarns in teal tones. The body is knitted and then it's surrounded by freeform crocheted edging and finished with two vintage buttons.
This is the second one, in lovely shades of aubergine or eggplant. It too has two vintage buttons to work with.
ANGEL SCARFLETTE AUBERGINE
The beauty of this design is that you can rearrange the way to wear it simply by changing the spaces where you push the buttons through. Use one or both, turn the whole thing upside down, play with the crocheted edging to change the look more.
This may be the most versatile design I've developed so far. No fringe, no frills, just freeform ruffles to appeal to your more feminine side.
I expect to list one or both on Etsy shortly.

I love that the beauty of the yarn really comes through with this simple, lovely design, Louise! Brava, my friend!
