CLUTCH ME, then CUFF ME!

I LOVE FELTING!!!!

Aqua Waves Envelope Clutch

Masked Felted Clutch

Just in case you didn't know how much I love felting, I just had to show these latest two envelope clutches that I think are JUST TOOOOOO CUTE!!! They are both from Lambs Pride wool, one in worsted weight and one in bulky on size 15 needles. It doesn't seem to matter which weight I use; they all seem to come out a similar size, even though I'm trying for the Sassy Sac style that is more square and to which I can add a funky strap. No matter!

One thing I HAVE learned and am happy to share with others is that the looser and airier your knitted fabric for felting, the faster and tighter it felts. I am lovin' it!

I've been experimenting too! This scrumbled cuff (scrumbling = freeform knit and crochet) used up some donated multi-colored, variegated yarn (I think it's s Noro something wonderful!) It's got luscious colors - but not enough to make a bigger piece. So it became a cuff with a BIG black button to fasten in a variety of ways.
